Have you upgrade all Apps that have an IOS10 update?
Not sure it would make a difference, but I did. I'm in the middle of you and tony as I am not seeing much difference in battery life.
Most battery is drained through the screen brightness, Wifi, Bluetooth and any applications that run in the background (for example if using GPS positioning on Runkeeper or Strava)
