My first time at CR yesterday too. I left to get there earlier than normal and arrived
later. I am not match fit!
I too approve of the world's largest moving telly although I did get a bit distracted at times watching it rather than the match. I like the way putting the words to OTBC slowed down the singing apart from the last couple of lines which went inexplicable quickly and no one around me could keep up.
Agree about the poor atmosphere - I was comparing it to the Lambert season and how excited we all got. In the Riverend we heard no noise from the Cardiff fans but also very little singing from the Barclay. I also don't think it helped in the first half that there were so many injuries.
I didn't feel for one moment we weren't going to win. We had the edge all game. While the team may have been in second gear, there were some glimpses of fantastic skill (Timm did a really cool bit of trickery when defending near the goal line for example) and I enjoyed those. We should be fine!
I thought Russ did great, especially as he had to change positions after 12 mins but it probably meant he and Jacob were less in tune (although didn't the first goal come from RM passing to Jacob for the cross?)
Pritch's first few seconds were fantastic! It was like he exploded onto the pitch.
Ivo Pinto runs fast!
