Mr Dennis is right in this case though

it's very clear from what Jez Moxey said that after bringing in Pritchard , Canos and Nelson, we needed to clear wages off the books in order to bring anyone else in. We may or may not have transfer funds available, but it's irrelevant as our wages are maxed out.

Relegation + keeping all but 1 of the prem players = less wages for new signings. Mr Dennis thinks that is self-evident.

Mr Butler being overly aggressive and complaining all the time isn't really helping that discourse. I do think as a journalist covering football, he should try to avoid propagating the myth that we should pop down to Morrisons and get an Assombalonga on sale. It isn't that straightforward.
