Very true Dr. But things still turn up. The biggest problem I found was

the way the market changed. it's all about names now ('design classics') rather than quality & craftsmanship. And bloody imported mass produced machine made furniture going for much more than Cuban Mahogany regency pieces.

Bah humbug. I'm too old.
