All hooked into this turgid turmoil of hope/dismay/frustration and downright wrath.

I woke this morning thinking I'd be all over this but as soon as the Narch news became a rare thing, I got back to work.

Nothing is going to stop me supporting Norwich. There are ridiculous clamours ringing out for AN to get the boot if we don't sign a new forward. If we don't sign anyone. That's laughable. Isn't it? Persuade me that any of you prick juicers who seem to have transfer business procedure nailed have a better plan.

I don't want to fill up our numbers for the sake of appeasing a few ingrate ingorants. It's a very tricky and complex thing. Far more than I could ever hope to succeed in.

What a squad we have. What a team and what a manager, hungrier than most to kick arse, goal and ball in every game.

We'll do better than all right. And anything better than that is what's brought us so much joy over the past few years. The downs are what have made that joy possible. As are the ways we've always gone about our business.

That's Norwich. It doesn't mean a lack of ambition. Far, far from it. We do what we can, when we can and when it makes sense. It's what differentiates us from Villa, the binners, in fact everyone else.

Get on it. Or don't.
