Our spending versus Newcastle and Villa

Of course we're spending less.

Villa have a mega rich Chinese person as a new owner determined to conquer the world, so have no meaningful constraint on what they spend.

Newcastle have spent a lot, but will have also received a lot. Wijnaldum, Townsend, Cisse and now possibly Sissoko likely to bring in £60-70m. Some of the other dregs they've shifted might have attracted a few quid too.

I think we've done alright to roughly balance the books, although we do still look light upfront. If we flog Naismith I'd be happy. He's been s**t, doesn't look like he cares, and seems to moan at his team mate. So he can f**k right off. If we can use the money to bring in one more striker, then its not bad business.
