1 year left shouldn't make a big difference to his value tbf

I think if we take Ings as the example, we'd likely have got around £8m in compensation had we lost him on a free.

The question is therefore how much is he worth to us this season with the possibility he signs a new contract if we are promoted?

Personally I'd value that at around £10m, meaning we didn't get enough for him
