Sean Dysche was just on Talkysports talking about transfers at present,
Interesting listening.
He spoke about how they've spoken to a club about a player and were told straight away that the price will be higher for Burnley as they are getting the premier league money, to anyone else the player would be £2m cheaper.
Also spoke about how hard it is at the moment as many clubs in the top couple of divisions are bankrolled by wealthy benefactors and don't need to sell any more. He said the days of a club being run as a sustainable business are all but over. Only a few clubs remain using this model. Basically said that the transfer market is now dictated by wealthy owners.

- Who wants to play for Burnley? I bet that's a factor too. (n/m) (Other Football) - Trent_Canary, Aug 10, 09:49:51
- Yeah, I imagine what he was talking about is pretty relevant for clubs like us too. (n/m) (Other Football) - I Am Hoot, Aug 10, 09:53:41
