One Problem With Signing New Players...

...and this goes way, way back, is that I don't think many of them actually have any interest in coming here & dismiss the idea out of hand, indeed, as its probably a journey out of the way of their agents, their agents probably put them off anyway.

We joke about the club saying they just "need to get the player here" so they can go from that stage, I reckon thats a major battle and, if and when we do, then we stand a chance-they see Norwich as not being a hick outpost with nothing going for it, and they realise that they won't be expected to train in a field either.

Look at the fuss Huck's agent made about him coming here, he didn't want to know, what was that borne out of-ignorance as regards the clubs cirumstances perhaps, together with it being the sort of journey and effort he'd rather not make?

You look at a player like Earnshaw-what sort of image does he have regarding Norwich as a place to live and work, what is he going to be fed by his, in all probability, Midlands or London based agent and friends?

I don't doubt that we try for players, but, if they're not up for even up for considering it, then...?
