that they only have to put a choice to party members if there is a choice. But there's now only one candidate.

The only one, in theory, with legitimate cause for complaint is actually Liam Fox, isn't it? On the basis that he's the only one who actually got ejected because he lost a vote? All the people he lost to (Crabb, Gove and Leadsom) have subsequently pulled out voluntarily.

But could hardly put him forward, given he came last...
