How many games have you actually seen by maradona in his prime. You get to see ronaldinho with the aid of satellite tv, but that wasnt available 20 years ago.

You also have to recognise the protection players get these days. Maradona was hacked to bits, as was pele, during his career. These days you cant go near a player. Just imagine how much greater the players from years ago would have been with the tackling laws of today.
