Can't really remember now! But it was something like
me posting on the Monday after the Ashton transfer "Looks like our stupid board hasn't been negotiating in anticipation of the Ashton cash" (ie more or less exactly what Jim's just posted) and Arganth saying I was the one being stupid, it was obvious that there were deals just around the corner.
As you know, I don't like these things to go unremarked!
Though I'd rather that he was proved right, to be honest. If there's no good signing before the window then either Worthy's out, or we are total f**kwits.
