then why did York Harrogate and Leeds vote remain then - surely they are the most affluent

There are nuances I grant you but Yarmouth and the two places in Linc's that had the most leave percentage tends to point to that argument somewhat. I am in north cambs which was leave by .8 I think but south Cambs, Cambridge and a lot of Herts were pretty much the only remain in east Anglia apart from Norwich. If your life is going OK why risk change when you have too much to lose and not much to gain . simplified I grant you but I do believe its down to prosperity to a large degree. I am OK so I voted remain.
