yeah, true enough
Worthy did lose his nerve last year & should take a chunk of the blame.
His biggest failings this year & last have been trying to bed new players into sides that are struggling for form & then losing his nerve & going back to tried & tested players who just aren't quite good enough.
Ultimately how many of us would pick McVeigh up front week in week out? But if he nicks the team a few results when we're under pressure?
Thorne is a decent striker with a good record at this level. In my opinion we've missed McKenzie a lot this year (noticed he's even been missed out of lists of striker's we've got in posts below).
Holt, Francis (& Mulryne occasionally) got us promoted from this division.
Safri, Jarrett/Etuhu & Hughes doesn't look much better or worse to me.
Koumas is a talented showpony who would not fit in any midfield that includes Hucks.
