Sorry guys & gals - forgot to post what Munby said........
He seems to be someone who 5 live like to have comment regularly.
He was being asked to contrast what the Hammers and Preston would be feeling like with us having been on both situations in the last three seasons.
He was then asked if his comments before we were relegated concerning the clubs finances and keeping the team together etc etc still held good given the speculation on Green, Francis etc .
His reiterated that we are in sound financial shape and that we do NOT have to sell any of the current squad, that the board and Worthy want to keep them together, even if we don't sell, there is "some money" for team strengthening, but that if players want to leave, that is a footballing decision which will be made by Worthy. Also said that to date we have NOT received any official approaches for anyone and that things would be quiet on the signings front until Worthy returned from his hols (which looks as if it was yesterday judging by the Pinkun).
Nothing much new really, but I like Munby, he comes over as very sincere and honest. Our club is in good hands, of that there is no doubt.
