Whilst i'm not that bothered about O'Neil it is a bit of a "concern" that

Bristol City are able to attract a player that we were offering a contract to. Has gone slightly under the radar that Bristol City are now owned by a very rich individual. They will probably mount a challenge for promotion within the next 2 or 3 years.

Possibly they offered him a longer deal that we did but we need to get ourselves out of the current position where we have too many players with one year left on their contracts or on year to year deals. In my view its not a good basis for a promotion effort when half your team can walk away from free at the send of the season and know that if we go up then they may not get in the team anyway.
