i reckon most of the first eleven have read this board at some time or other
but i doubt any of them come back regularly.
If it was the odd joke or comment about a player underachieving, i'd say it was harmless, but for worthy it's insults every few minutes and for the rest of the team it's after every match with the odd 'xxxx was actually pretty good today'. A good player player would naturally be upset by people's opinions, but would also be motivated by the desire to prove the doubters wrong.
As for the rumour mill thing, that's just a phenomenon of society, the best way to deal with it is for the club to be as transparent as possible and then just ignore the stupid rumours.
