Watched something about it the other day, it struck me that seeing Shearer, Sheringham, Seaman, Pearce, Adams etc... the players all seem like actual men - whereas I'd struggle to describe any current of the England squad, even the 26-27-28 year old's as anything but bellendish nando's/snapchat merchants.

Lallana for example is the same age as Ince was then, Sturridge is OLDER than Shearer was. That f**king wriggly arm goal dance celebration and mongrammed baseball cap...unbelievable Jeff.

But back then players average wages were about ?9k for a top division pro. Footballers now, even the s**t ones, are indulged preening t**ts who spend every spare hour shopping for a lesbians clothes, having tattoos done, accumulating houses and cars and getting daft lines shaved into their hair.

Footballers back then were all pissheads and cokeheads who spent every spare hour gambling, drinking, shagging and cutting up each others clothes.

RIP Euro 96; its all been bellendery, bandwagons and bantz since then.
