If you wouldn't punish a kid that way, you shouldn't do it to anyone in a mental hospital

either. People act out sometimes, just like naughty children do. Those who choose to work with mental health patients need to know this/be taught it! It's a very common hazard of the job unfortunately, due to it's very nature. Who knows what the patients have been through in their past/younger years.
