I can't honestly see any players coming into this demoralised side and performing miracles

(for that is what our pretensions to the play-offs are). Especially if, in desperation, we have to pay through the nose for them as well. Better to just bank the cash (or pay off some short term debt), muddle through the rest of the season; get rid of Worthy & the deadwood and rebuild during the summer with a bright, forward looking manager.
