The lack of the Tettey/GON double axis has been a big problem

We looked far more defensively sound and less vulnerable to counter attacks with both of those two starting. The GON red card vs Stoke was the start of this problem. Up until that moment we had looked good for quite a while.

Trying to shoe horn Naismith into the team, causing a loss of balance, was another. Obviously this is where Alex Neil deserves criticism.

McNally should have had a quality player recruitment set up in place long before last Summer so yes he takes the blame for that.
