We don't need a complete overhaul but there are fundamental areas to address

The back four and goalkeeper have barely changed in the last few years and been relegated two of the last three seasons. The centre back combinations of Martin/Bassong/Bennett clearly aren't good enough (I'm assuming we won't get to keep Klose).

We have four strikers at the club. Two are on loan and one (Lafferty) is completely out of favour. We'll be going down with Jerome who is good at that level but needs help.

Added to that there are a number of players I think we'll struggle to keep hold of this summer. Olsson, Howson and Redmond were all happy to stay after the last relegation but I'm not sure they will be this. Brady and Klose look like players who can play at a higher level than the championship.

We might not need a major overhaul but I think we'll see one naturally
