I think our biggest problem this season is something that I've yet to see mentioned,
It's the home shirts. Specifically the arms on the short sleeved version. Why you ask? Well I'm about to tell you so don't be so impatient....
The green trim around the opening of the sleeve is quite tight on the arm, even for someone of my build who is short but reasonably muscular arms (I'm not bragging, just sayin). I just done another workout wearing this shirt, just to confirm my suspicions. And when exercising it feels really tight and uncomfortable. To put it bluntly, it's f**king annoying and distracting. Compare it with last season's shirt which is far more open and comfortable. Last season's shirt happens to be my shirt of choice for my athletic endeavours because it's very comfortable anyway.
So that's my theory, take it or leave it.
Forget the signings, the lack of signings, the no shows, the catastrophic defending (which I think was due to them being distracted, trying to pull the sleeve down), the chances we've missed (which I think was due to them being distracted, trying to pull the sleeve down), McNally's bonus, the goal nets, along come Norwich and all that other tireless s**t that people have mentioned over and over again.
This is the real truth. It's the shirts.
