We need to start buying the best young talents in the lower divisions

and develop them into better players that can form a good prem team for years to come or at least give us money to rebuild through good resale value.

When I say that I mean our scouts need to start picking up players like Wilson, Alli and Gray. Not the likes of Thompson and McGrandles who are sent out on loan never to be seen again. Hopefully Maddison is more the former than the latter. We need to start getting player recruitment consistently right.

We had the chance to do this last season, but instead largely took on the average tried and tested journeymen who can get you promotion but will take you back down again.

Scouting and player recruitment has been the major issue at this club for years now. That has to change next season.
