I don't really see it like that

the calibre of striker we can sign is always a gamble. We've taken that gamble with the likes of Ricky but it wasn't to be. Some players shine, others don't, it's very hard for a team like Norwich to discover a gem.

Defensively though, that's where we were f**ked. You just cannot compete at this level if you don't have a stable platform to work from. Martin and Bassong are not a platform, they're a half deflated bouncy castle.
