I feel we need to pull a surprise result out of the bag to stay up

That we have to beat Watford is a given. We can get something at everton but i feel that we need to beat one of Arsenal or Man U to stand a realistic chance. On paper Man U at home looks the better opportunity and we just have to go for it.

I am convinced Liverpool will put out a weakened team this weekend and i don;t have a lot of faith in Arsenal playing their third game in a week at Sunderland on Sunday off the back of a game tomorrow night. I think its pretty unfortunate the way the fixtures have gone as we then play Arsenal with them having had a full weeks rest.

That said, If Newcastle don;t beat Liverpool on Saturday then we will be above them with a game in hand and things look brighter. Similarly if Arsenal beat Sunderland then we just have to match them over the last 3 games although its not inconceivable that Sunderland could get 7/9 points from their last 3. We desperately need Stoke to turn up for their game at the Britannia and not capitulate now they have little to play for.

perhaps outside wild card that Villa could be dangerous now they are already down.

As said above too many variable. don;t know why i bothered typing all the above!
