Oh dear

Missed the game entirely today as I was driving back from a week away. Therefore I didn't watch or even listen. Quite glad about that now. Also feel free to entirely discount my ramble below, as I could be talking rubbish.

But I see AN is getting some stick for the team selection and questions are being asked about who should have played up front/in midfield. But based on what I've read on here, isn't the story just an exact repeat of almost all the games we lose? Bad bad defensive decisions gifting away goals. In this case Wisdom with a stupid challenge for the first, Bass getting caught in possession for the second.

That's the problem. Probably the only problem. Almost regardless of the four names we've selected at the back, we've made shocking errors that give away goals. The only exceptions being Klose and, possibly, Olsson. Sounded like we were doing okay today and then just gave away two goals. Total game changer. And you need to be a much better outfit than us to come back from that.

Ultimately, all roads lead back to the failure to add defensive quality last summer?
