Quality of player does make a difference

But dont think as a whole squad Sunderland have any more quality than we do

Plain and simple today were started with the wrong team and tactics, we made the wrong subs and did not react when our tactics were not working. Tge subs that were made made us even unbalanced and quite frankly for lagged parts of the second half especially our setup was a complete mess.

Regardless of quality of players the manager needs to be able to adapt and make changes whilst still keeping Some semblance of shape.
