he's had a really easy ride these last few months

relatively little criticism despite taking us on our worst run of results for about four generations and spending the most we have ever done in a transfer window.

Fans have been incredibly patient with him - which I think in general is a good thing - but his decisions certainly shouldn't be beyond criticism or beyond serious questioning given our form since new year.
