In fairness. . .

it is possible to agree with evolution theory & also believe in some form of God. Not every scientist agrees with Mr.Dawkins (good at Zoology, but on ropier ground with his philosophy).

High level physics, philosophy & theology have a fair amount of overlap (and often have cross departmental modules run at universities).

So the poll that was taken probably doesn't really reflect whether people are dismissing evolution, creation theory or ID.
