Criminal damage innit.

If you live in a council house and you kick your own front door in. The Council can get the police involved for a case of criminal damage.

There was a case in Yarmouth a few years back. Some bloke came home pissed and lost his door key. He kicked his door in to get inside. And was taken to court for it.
