Tech question
I have a laptop with which I use an external display + built in display, totalling 2xFullHD desktop space. I want to switch from using the laptop display to using a second external monitor (so I can stop glancing up and down).
I only have one HDMI output and a splitter hasn't worked. I've looked online but the advice is hit and miss (some solutions work for some machines, not for others)
Anyone know whether running a second hdmi monitor via a usb converter is likely to work?
It's a fair to middling laptop with i5, etc. I appreciate there are limitations in terms of ports and graphics cards, etc. but I am already powering the same amount of screen, I just want to push it to external screens instead of using the inbuilt one.
Windows10
Thanks in advance
