What is the primary objective of the CEO of a football club?

To create a successful side on the pitch, or to create a successful company off the pitch?

For me it is the latter; there are people in other roles who can have a much greater influence on the pitch, whereas in terms of turning a profit each year the buck will generally stop with the CEO.

So, is NCFC a successful company? Undoubtedly yes, and that is why McNally earns the big bucks.
