I'm just not convinced he is really what we need most come this summers transfer window and whilst I readily admit i have only seen him play on limited occasions I question, based on previous experience and evidence, as to whether recruiting players from Scotland is the right way forward to enhance our quality.

In addition I really want to see home-grown talent like the Murphy's given a chance as they are not teenagers any more and have significant loan experience under their belts. What's the point of having them if we are going to simply keep bringing in players in front of them and never give them a chance.

If he does sign for us I will hope he does a great job for us but am i not allowed to have reservation about him at this stage?
