My Auntie Mary (dead) used to sing the theme tune to the Pink Panther whilst hoovering up.

I was never quite sure if she was just naturally upbeat, or mentally unhinged. Could have been the vast quantities of lithium she consumed on a daily basis I suppose.

She had the cleanest carpets of anyone I knew, until my kid sister kicked a tin of gloss paint down the stairs. I still f**king roar whenever I think of that day.
