But ultimately the common denominator whether we play well or badly is we seem to manage to come away with nothing. Full house tonight of gifting them a needless goal in the first minute with naive, schoolboy defending, being screwed by the officials and Jerome once again managing to miss a crucial chance at a key stage of the game.

Redmond and Wes outstanding. Once again but shocked to see how tired our players were in the last ten but you certainly cannot fault them for effort and spirit tonight.

I won't say that if we keep playing like that we will be ok because we may not but if there is any justice we will get a break in one of these matches soon. A ref who is not a complete c**t would be nice too.

Chelsea really are an odious team of diving whinging gits. Shame we couldn't shut them up.
