I saw three of Lisbie's games, though, and he really WAS awful.

Beating Ipswich and Brighton owed very little to Lisbie, I can assure you. Frequently offside, very little accuracy in the shot (bar a tap-in at Watford), no real team play, no touch, no control - just very, very poor.
