I would. Is a bit irrelevant about the official number of defenders... In fact I like
the 3 CB look against a team who plays with a single striker. It allows us to be in a 3-5--1-1 and flood the midfield, or a 3-4-2-1 (Christmas tree) and allowing Wes, Brady and Pinto to be involved in the attack whilst still having midfielders to help out or press should we lose the ball, or move into a 5-3-1-1 when being attacked. In fact I like it better than against a 4-4-2 as their wingers can pin our wingbacks in our own half and leave us permanently in a 5-3-1-1 or even worse a 5-4-1 with the the 1 very very isolated.
