Evan Dando Lemonheads chat
Years ago I remember reading Select or Vox or something and on the last page was a Q & A with Evan Dando. One of the questions was "whats your favourite club or bar?" his answer was Peppermint Park in Norwich because "one night the DJ played 30 seconds of a song before slamming straight into the next, 30 seconds only" etc and it blew his mind.
Anyway, this makes me think the "cars fly up King Street" line from Drug Buddy is specifically about Norwich.
So;
1) Does anyone remember this interview?
2) Did Peppermint Park do 30 second mashups? (I don't recall)
3) is that song namechecking Norwich iyho?
