Nobody is expecting names though..

It would be reassuring to hear "we have bids in" with 6 days of the window left rather than "We've made an enquiry" having known for 2 weeks if not more that Deano is on his way.

Whether he wanted to leave or not he shouldnt have been allowed to unless replacement/s of sufficient quality were lined up and we knew we had the finances to sanction such deal/s.

Andy Johnson at Palace was told tough luck when he wanted to leave and all clubs were told hands off no matter what. Why couldnt we do that?? and why was deano allowed to negotiate a 10% of any sell on profit when he signed his new contract. He was on a long term contract anyway
