I think it's a signing that sums up the mess we're in

we now need to rebuild. the players we sign now need to be ones for the future - players with potential. We're not going anywhere this season, so we've GOT to be looking at players who can do it over the next few years.

28-year-old premiership failures can't be the answer. except to Worthy's problem of keeping himself in the job for as many months as he can.
