Are The Board Going To Lose Support?
Previously they have been seen as untouchable.
In our promotion season, when people were chatting to me about Norwich who didn't know much about the club, I said our greatest asset was our board of directors including the Wynn-Jones's. Progressive, had invested money, raised funds, moved the club on...
...as a consequence, I have found it hard to give them any stick, and yet it now seems that all the criticism that Worthington was getting last season and into this one, is now being a bit more evenly spread about and the board, including Delia and Michael, but especially Messrs.Doncaster and Munby, are now being questioned as much as anyone.
Is it because of what they are doing-or, crucially, I think, what they AREN'T doing.
Another thing which comes to mind is this-isn't, and hasn't Delia been quiet all season? Last season, the season before, she was here, there, and everywhere, soundbites, interviews, bits in the programme and from the club. This season-barely a sight or sound of her or MWJ, other than the fact they're at the games.
Are they keeping a low profile for any reason other than they are? She is normally very vocal and public on matters, but this season, as I said-very quiet.
