For those suggesting a change of manager...
For all those suggesting a change of manager, do you really think we'd give AN ?20m or so to spend and then get rid of him within a couple of weeks?
It's just not going to happen.
Yes,things aren't going well right now and, yes, this needs to change fast, but I personally believe he can turn it around. If not then we go down, rebuild, and stick with him to get us out of the championship as he did last season.
We come back up, he knows what to expect, is better prepared, and we go again..
Change doesn't always bring better times, getting rid doesn't guarantee the next manager will improve us significantly, or indeed at all.
He's bought two proven premier players, two with champions league experience and three players for the future...Yes they may not have all kicked into gear yet, but they will... I'm sure we'd all agree the type of players he's gone for suggests a longer term plan too.. Maddison especially suggests looking more towards bringing in quality youth where possible, which is a massively positive step forward.
This post is already too long, but have faith and stick with him. The man is a fighter and will be good for us long term. This is the first real blip, and he's not used to losing. He'll get through it, sort us out, and get us back on track.
Keep the faith all!
OTBC.
