Massive Disappointment today.
What is really annoying is that we could have won it comfortably.
So many what ifs. If Bassong had just headed that ball in normally. If only Rudd had stayed back instead of charging out. If Gary O'Neil could deliver just 1 decent corner in 3. If only Tettey had been available. If only we got a tiny bit of luck just now and again. I'm an optimist, but I'm well p.'d off, especially as my brother-in-law is a Villa fan.
I really don't think the conditions suited for Wes to start today. Prob should have started with Bamford or Redmond instead. With hindsight, lovely hindsight.
Trying to be positive, we played well in the last 20 mins, Bamford, Mbokani, Naismith looked good together. Martin was solid at RB. Just brief moments of sloppiness, punished ruthlessly as always. I still think we can turn it around, but the odds are turning against us.

- Agree. We still have games to turn this around. Not too late. Just harder. (n/m) (NCFC) - essexcanaryOTBC, Feb 6, 18:53:39
