Looking at this honestly..

We were involved in one of those mad games that happens. The defensive problems from the last few games are still there and that's why we bought a ?9m central defender!
The way it looks to be set up with Brady and pinto indicates that the full backs are there to bom forward. If not they would have Ollsen and Martin and Brady would have been played at left wing. The system relies on the midfield holding 2 to fall back. However we are missing tettey and really missing GON ! Also if true that tets was ill late in Friday, there would have been no time to entirely change that tactical planning that would have been worked on all week. However the fact there was no mulumbu was really telling given he is fit!
I though redders looked the best he's played in a while and Naismith is the signing of the window so far.
With the midfield
Fully stocked with first choice players I think we would have won that game.
Now I hate to play the "look at the reality of who and where we are card" but even though liverfool are a poor liverfool.... We still "should have won" and that given we are a promoted team is great. The other results went our way and look at the teams around us and we are not in the bottom 3. At this stage of the season I think won't think that's too bad.
