I thought AN set the team up well. Posts on here saying it was an open midfield, yet
we largely dominated midfield possession. The set-up was designed to exploit Liverpool's fragility, and it did it well. We conceded a real sickener, but then scored three. And then they scored three. We scored four goals and lost by the odd goal, to a high-value team. We could easily have won by the odd goal. I even understand the selection of Martin over Bennett. Can't understand why people can't see positives.

- A few on here also seem to overlook the lack of available CDM's today (NCFC) - Common Sense Police, Jan 23, 16:02:40
- I'm curious. Why select Martin over Bennett? (n/m) (NCFC) - SeattleSounders, Jan 23, 15:58:50
- Because Martin is more skilful (it's relative, I know), and Liverpool play a pressing game (NCFC) - Higher Wrather, Jan 23, 16:02:53
