Seems very very odd indeed to come and visit if there was no intention for him to sign. Clearly he's thinking about it, but agent is hoping for a better offer (bigger club) and/or for someone (including us) to throw more money.

Based on my (miniscule) knowledge of him, he'd be a good fit. Great big fella in the Jerome/Big Dave mould, but young, up and coming, more pace (than Big Dave anyway) and decent goals record (albeit in the Dutch league).

Adding him plus Naismith would give AN more options, within the confines of his preferred system (big lad up front, small lad in behind).
