I'm not sure any of the press really knew what was happening I think they just put 2+2 together because news of the deal broke early and we had to wait for evertons fixture long fixture list to ease. They just assumed there was a problem. Martinez said all along nothing would happen till then and it didn't. When he said yesterday we had a deal I was sure it would happen
