I agree we were doing well at Stoke

but it's not hindsight to suggest that was the game to rest players for. Several posters said as much last week.

The most important game was Bournemouth - so ideally you wanted the best players to have a full week recovery before that. Better to play them v Man City and Bournemouth and go in with a slightly weaker team v Stoke.

The way we did it was basically prioritising the Stoke game - which personally for me was the least important.
