I'd just be sensible about it
laptops are possibly more readily identifiable than a smartphone that could be ten-a-penny.
But broadly employers have better things to do than monitor their employees' activities unless they have other reasons for doing so. So if you're not pulling your weight in terms of work output but your boss sees you tapping away on your laptop all the time, it might create a disconnect between perceived activity and actual output that might get looked into. And then you might find that someone does start looking to see what you're up to, taking the time to trace your device's activities etc.
But what you do on your own time, that doesn't affect work or colleagues, meh. Unless it's really dodgy s**t (and I'd probably stay away from porn generally...) I'd be surprised if your employer cared that much.
